The dragonfly gallery comprises of images from around the world and are sorted taxonomically rather than the country were these were taken. For European species the taxonomy follows Dijkstra & Lewington Field Guide to the Dragonflies of Britain and Europe and also includes older alternative names. Norwegian species names are also included to help as a local language identification key.
