During a short trip to England, we included a day photographing diving Common Kingfishers at Paul Sawer's superb Kingfisher workshop setup, which is situated close to Minsmere Nature reserve in Suffolk. During the two day Suffolk visit, it was also possible to visit both localities and which can be recommended. The images included here were taken from a hide using a wireless remote and with the camera positioned close to the action. Using a second camera in the hide it would have also been possible to photograph sitting Kingfishers with their prey, but unfortunately we were traveling light on this occasion.
