Hungary 2016

Hortobágy National Park - 30th April - 7th May 2016

This hide photography trip was organised directly through Saker Tour in Hungary. During this week there were nine or ten photographers sharing at least nine different photo hides, which were designed for either whole day or half day use. However, more hides were available depending on what birds were to be photographed. The main reason that most bird photographers visit this area is to photograph it's breeding Red-footed Falcons and a whole day was spent in this wonderful hide. Accommodation at the Bibic Nature Lodge was superb as was it's wonderful natural location and the transport logistics were excellent considering the potentially difficult task involved.

The enclosed images represent just a very small selection taken of the 112 species seen on this trip.
