This gallery contains a small selection of images taken in Iceland during June 2006.

The 10-day self organised trip was planned primarily as a cultural and sightseeing holiday, with several birding

days incorporated and a route planned to see Harlequin Duck and Barrow's Goldeneye. In addition, several other interesting species and subspecies were found along with a superb whale watching day, All accommodations

and car hire were pre-booked for the route between Reykjavik to Mývatn and Húsavík in the north.

    

The original JPEG images were taken with a Canon EOS 20D and Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM (mark 1).
