The Moths gallery, comprises mainly of images taken in Vestfold and Buskerud regions (now Vestfold & Telemark and Viken) in southern Norway, but also from travels around the world. These are sorted taxonomically rather than country of origin and are both taken spontaneously in the field and pre-caught insects using a light trap.

Each image contains information where and when this was taken, although exact locations are mostly excluded.  

Where they exist, Norwegian species names are also included to help as a local language identification key. 

 

This new gallery is under construction and may appear unfinished from time to time, but images will be continuously added as and when they become available.
