This trip was a self organised 3-man trip, primarily aimed at bird photography and not at seeing as many species as possible. The itinerary was carefully planed to involve as little traveling as possible and was based in just three areas within easy reach of Panama City, Canopy Lodge, Canopy Tower and Gamboa/Pipline Road areas. Several days in each of these areas can be thoroughly recommended for bird photography, however we also had several day excursions to locations recommended to us. Totally ca.250 bird species were recorded, which considering the venue was exceptionally good for a non-twitching trip.
